Hâncești Orphanage is home to 253 children and young adults with moderate to profound mixed learning and physical disability. There are just over 200 staff (State and ORM) who provide the daily care for all these children with respect to their feeding, washing, toiling and all activities of daily living. The children are entirely dependent on the staff for assistance.
With such a huge flux of staff daily from 16 villages the risk of COVID19 entering the orphanage is extremely high and we need to prepare for it so that when it comes their daily care is not compromised. With your help we can get them through this crisis. With the world seeming so overwhelming at the moment there is a concrete way we can all practically help these children.
