23 students from Andrei Saguna High School in Brasov, Romania (ages 11 to 18) are invited to participate at NASA international conference in Arlington, VA. They are awarded for exceptional skills in research in Physics, Astrophysics, Education and Health. Make their dream come true to get their awards in person at NASA Space Settlement Design Contest to be held in June 2019.
To win the competition, these students competed with 2600 other students from many other countries. The students won FOUR first prizes and other honorable mentions.
The cost to attend the conference is very high for the families of these students in Romania. Their mentors decided to raise money through GOFundMe campaign to help with the trip.
